Registering With CBIC: A Walkthrough

Sign-up takes a few minutes. Knowing the shape of it in advance removes most of the friction.

1. Choose your account type

Student / Individual is for university, technical, diploma and nursing students and recent graduates. Institution / Team is for universities, colleges, training centres and team admins. The two collect different information and follow different paths afterwards.

2. Fill in your details

• Students give name, email, phone, CNIC, current institute, study status and their final-year project
• Institutions give the institution name, official registration number and the admin or focal person
• WhatsApp is the only optional contact field — everything marked with a red asterisk is required
• The project description needs at least 20 characters; a live counter tells you where you are
• If a CBIC representative gave you a reference code, enter it. It is optional and leaving it blank changes nothing about your application

3. Read and sign

Before your account is created you are shown the Registration Disclaimer and the full Terms & Conditions, then asked to tick your consent, type your full legal name and draw a signature.

This is a real electronic signature record — the version you accepted, the time, and your signature are stored against your account. The same text stays published on the site so you can re-read it whenever you want.

4. Verify your email

A six-digit code is emailed to the address you registered. It expires in ten minutes and you get five attempts. Your account is only created once the code is confirmed — until then nothing is stored as a member record.

If the code does not arrive, check spam first, then use the resend link. There is a sixty-second cooldown between sends.

5. Your CBIC ID and dashboard

On confirmation you are issued a CBIC ID — CBIC-STU-… for individuals, CBIC-INS-… for institutions — and taken to your dashboard. Students go on to the registration fee; institutions go to document verification first.

You can log in afterwards with either your email address or your CBIC ID, in the same field. If you forget your password, the reset link is under the password box.
